Life University is conducting a research study to understand more about Chiropractic’s impact on the brain-body connection and metabolic syndrome (MetS) in adults. MetS is associated with having at least 3 of the 5 criteria:
- High waist circumference
- High blood pressure
- High triglycerides
- High blood sugar
- Low HDL cholesterol

Post-concussion syndrome and chiropractic
The Life University Research Center is investigating the effects of chiropractic care on people with post-concussion syndrome. PCS is having at least 3 of the following symptoms that are still lingering 3 months after a head injury:
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Insomnia
- Fatigue
- Concentration difficulty
- Memory difficulty
- Intolerance to stress,
- emotions, and alcohol
- Irritability
